Ruth Scott is a mind healer using the Levashov method of magnified conscious intention to effect healing and personal change through the influence of the subtle energies.
Since 1993, Scott has worked with clients from around the world with a wide variety of health, spiritual, and personal concerns. She was trained by Russian physicist-healer Nicolai Levashov in 1993 and has continued in on-going study and supervision with him since that time. Formal education includes an MBA from San Jose State University and post-graduate coursework in the medical and biological sciences at UC Berkeley and its extension.
As a researcher with Center for Functional Research since 1994, Scott has pursued research in consciousness, the subtle energies, and healing with the mind. Her special interests include the evolution and advancement of human potential, the subtle or psi effects of human interaction, and the evolving paradigm and emerging intersections of alternative and scientific medicine.
Prior to becoming a healer, Scott had extensive experience with human, organizational, and business systems. She was a venture capitalist with Alpha Partners in Menlo Park, California, where her focus included start-up firms seeking to maximize the possibilities for those seeking health and wellness, and thus the advancement of health care. Scott was also trained in family systems therapy and was director of a non-profit organization devoted to creating healthy families and to working with families in business.
